Together, we honor the legacy of the Black church while activating its future through the voices and leadership of young adults aged 18-39.
Senior pastors nominate one man and one woman (ages 18-39) from their congregation to represent their church in the registry.
Nominated representatives write a 500-750 word essay on "My Church and the Community," sharing their personal narrative and community impact.
A youth-led committee reviews essays using criteria focused on voice, impact, clarity, and connection to church mission.
Selected essays are featured in a community celebration, creating a living archive of faith, youth, and community legacy.
Senior pastor approval and nomination of two representatives (one man, one woman, ages 18-39)

Meet all submission deadlines and participate in showcase events as scheduled
Commitment to quarterly gatherings, workshops, and collaborative service projects
Youth representatives receive official certificates and public recognition for their leadership and community service.
